Hello Neighbour,

It has been a very busy first week back at Queen’s Park and I have been grilling the Premier and his government on the issues that matter most to you – funding for school boards and addressing the crisis in our classrooms, affordable and reliable transit, and increasing access to affordable childcare spaces so parents can get back to work. Read on to learn how I’m fighting for you and our neighbours in Davenport.

If you’ve walked or biked near Sterling Rd, you might be familiar with the smell of chocolate in the area. Over 400 dedicated workers keep the Nestle factory on Sterling Rd operating every day, and on Sunday, these workers went on strike to demand better wages that will meet the current cost of living. I stand with these workers and support their demands for better.

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and I’m looking forward to spending time with my family this weekend. Mothers come in all forms, and I hope you get to celebrate the mothers and mother-figures in your life this weekend.

Happy Mother’s Day, have a wonderful weekend!
